Position PurposeThe Pre‑op/Post‑op/PACU department at Mount Carmel Grove City has 20 pre‑op/post‑op bays and 14 PACU bays. The Registered Nurse will provide care for inpatient and outpatient cases related to surgery, endoscopy, IR, myelograms, and MRI.
Patient‑to‑staff ratios: PACU 2:1;
Pre‑op 2/3:1;
Post‑op 2/3:1. The RN works with surgery and anesthesia teams to deliver excellent patient care.

What You Will Do- Provide nursing care, ensuring patient safety, promoting evidence‑based practice and quality initiatives.
- Assess and evaluate patient care for an assigned group, collaborating with patients and families to create a plan of care.
- Accurately communicate pertinent information to team members in a timely manner, keeping patients and families informed.
- Document assessments, interventions and outcomes according to documentation standards.
- Assume responsibility for care provided and documented by other licensed and unlicensed caregivers as appropriate.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- For Casual RNs, 2 years of experience is required.
- New graduate nurses with less than 1 year of clinical experience will be enrolled in the Nurse Residency Program.
