LPN – Residential Nursing
The Buckeye Ranch is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Residential Nursing team. The LPN performs nursing procedures for the comfort and well-being of clients, including giving prescribed medications and treatments according to approved policy and procedures.
Available Schedules- Full‑time, Non‑Exempt – (12 p.m. – 10 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday)
- Full‑time, Non‑Exempt – (7 a.m. – 3 p.m., Friday – Monday)
- 2nd Shift (2 p.m. – 9:59 p.m.): $2.50/hr
- 3rd Shift (10 p.m. – 5:59 a.m.): $1.75/hr
- Weekend (Saturday 12:01 a.m. – Monday 5:59 a.m.): $1.00/hr
- Document nursing care in accordance with standards of practice and policies.
- Deliver newly ordered medication to appropriate program sites and record in the medical logbook.
- Evaluate clients and check vital signs.
- Document restraint utilization per clinical and administrative standards.
- Review laboratory and psychiatric/medical assessments as indicated.
- Assist in health screening of youth, ensuring current immunizations are documented.
- Administer physicians’ orders, including medication orders.
- Schedule medical appointments in accordance with physicians’ orders.
- Educate staff regarding treatment plans and client medical conditions.
- Transport clients as necessary.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance (effective first of month following 30 days of employment).

- One year of nursing experience.
- LPN license in the state of Ohio.
- Active driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
