Massey’s Pizza – Columbus, OH

Massey’s Pizza, Columbus's oldest pizzeria, has been crafting the perfect pizza since 1949. The company has expanded to 14 locations across two states, including four full-service sports bars offering fresh wings, burgers, and a comprehensive bar selection.

Massey’s Pizza is looking to expand and add to its management team throughout the central Ohio area. Massey’s Pizza has every available concept in the pizza business from full service sports bar to a pick up and delivery with small dining room.

We are currently looking to fill a General Manager position within one of our Sport’s Bars.

Our General Managers (GMs) are required to collaborate actively with kitchen personnel. This role necessitates hands-on participation in cooking and cleaning duties, consistent with the responsibilities of all other kitchen staff. Managers are expected to work kitchen shifts in addition to their managerial responsibilities. This is not strictly a management position, but rather an active, working manager role.

Experience is required for these positions, and compensation will be determined based on the specific position and the candidate's qualifications.

General Manager Responsibilities
  • Scheduling management
  • Adherence to Massey's operational procedures
  • Recruitment and selection
  • Employee terminations
  • Labor cost management and control
  • Food cost management and control
  • Execution of nightly closeouts and bank deposits
  • Maintenance tracking and reporting
  • Completion of bank deposits
  • Restaurant aesthetic and condition (Weekly inspection/walk-through)
  • Establishment of monthly meetings
  • Documentation and organization of monthly meeting minutes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of all operational positions
  • Ensuring employee training completion and administering proficiency assessments
  • Fostering positive customer interactions
  • Inventory management and control
  • Management of all food ordering

Compensation
