Position: Sales Support (Assistant)

Sales Support (Assistant)

Hayden Valley Foods, the nation’s leading privately owned and operated nut and snack company, has an immediate opening for a Sales Support associate on 1st shift. This role supports our sales team in a professional office environment.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Essential Job Functions & Tasks
  • Process and prepare sample requests for various departments, primarily sales.
  • Manage Fed Ex shipments, relay pertinent information to proper members of the team upon shipment processing.
  • Maintain sample log and track samples after shipping.
  • Communicate and collaborate with quality, purchasing, production, and shipping departments.
  • Provide direct support to sales representatives and customer service team on field sales projects and floating assignments as needed.
  • Handle daily email communications, respond to requests and follow up on status.
  • Answer phones.
  • Input sales orders.
  • Support graphic design department with trade show coordination and marketing materials.
  • Identify process efficiency recommendations based on issues raised by the sales team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • Education:

    High School Diploma required.
  • Experience in and knowledge of food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
  • Physical requirements:

    talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, occasionally lift or move objects up to 30 pounds.

Position type:
Full‑time, minimum 40 hours per week. Must have exemplary attendance.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Compensation & Benefits Package

Competitive salary $43,000‑$45,000 depending on experience.
401(k), medical, dental, vision, prescription, supplemental, and life insurance packages.
Company paid $50K life‑insurance policy.
PTO (vacation/sick) and 7 company paid holidays.
