We are seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Service Technician with a can‑do attitude, strong problem‑solving skills, and an active EPA Certification.

• Diagnose HVAC, refrigeration, and food service equipment issues; identify repair or replacement needs.
• Perform maintenance, service repairs, install new units, or replace parts of existing units for systems 15 tons and above.
• Maintain larger preventive maintenance contracts with more than five units.
• Repair or replace defective parts and controls.
• Service mini‑splits and smaller RTUs (15 tons or less).
• Communicate with Dispatch to confirm job completion.
• Maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures for customers.
• Provide elite customer service on every job.

• Continuous learning through First Call Academy to maintain industry skill standards.
• Deliver elite customer service to uphold the First Call brand.

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Active EPA Certification.
• 5+ years experience in a commercial HVAC setting.
• OSHA 10 Certification.
• Manufacturer Certification preferred.
• Availability for flexible hours and on‑call shifts.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.

Language

Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write correspondence, and effectively communicate job status to customers and account managers.

Mathematical

Skills:

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, compute rates, ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.

Reasoning Ability: Apply common sense to instructions, solve problems with multiple variables, prioritize tasks, and mentor technicians.

Physical Demands: Manual handling up to 50 lbs; frequent standing, walking, climbing, and stooping.
