Excavation Laborer

What You'll Do

* Move materials to and from job sites; organize and store materials properly

* Load and unload trucks with construction materials and equipment

* Assist in the installation of water lines, gas lines, and sewer lines in accordance with city and state specifications

* Support plumbers, drain cleaners, excavation crews, industrial teams, shop staff, and administrative employees as directed

* Perform a wide range of physical tasks in support of job site Operators

* Excavate and fill trenches and ditches

* Operate hand and power tools safely

* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site

* Follow all safety policies and job site procedures

Requirements

* Must be at least 18 years of age

* High school diploma or GED required

* Ability to communicate clearly (speak, read, and write)

* Ability to understand, follow, and relay written and verbal instructions

* Valid Ohio driver's license with no more than 4 points

* Ability to pass all pre-employment screenings, including:

* Criminal background check

* Motor vehicle record (MVR) check

* Drug screening

Maintaining eligibility to operate company vehicles is a fundamental job requirement. Employees must keep a driving record that remains insurable under the company's vehicle insurance provider.
