As a Before & After Care Worker, you will be responsible for assisting in maintenance of an orderly, safe and pleasant atmosphere in the cafeteria, on the playground and in other designated locations by helping and supervising students during authorized before or after school programs in accordance with CSUSA policy and established school procedures.

This position is one that is in the public eye and program assistants must always reflect a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.

• Resolve conflicts with children and parents, remain firm but friendly, and courteous.
• Follow proper student sign‑in and dismissal procedures for Before Care and After Care.
• Monitor students, observe who enters and leaves the childcare area, pass out snacks, play on the playground, tutor and assist students with homework.
• Maintain a professional appearance and communication with parents, children, and co‑workers.

• High school diploma or higher education credential.
• Previous experience as a daycare assistant or summer camp counselor (preferred).
• Must like children.

• May perform other duties as assigned.

The work environment is typical of a school setting. The job may be noisy during periods of high student traffic.
