As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and manage access at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, conducting routine patrols, and remaining present to provide exceptional service to all personnel and visitors.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Monitor and control access to the site, verifying credentials and authorizations for employees, visitors, and contractors at all designated entry and exit points.
• Assist with implementing site-specific security-related procedures in a technology-focused environment.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by responding to inquiries and offering guidance related to site access and protocols.
• Help to deter unauthorized access or prohibited activities through attentive observation and prompt reporting of suspicious behavior or incidents.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols and site-specific guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises, including surrounding perimeter areas, to observe and report any security-related concerns or irregularities.
• Document all access control activities, incidents, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as required, coordinating with site management and local authorities as directed.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
