Training Manager

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Create blended learning programs (classroom, e-learning, hands-on coaching) that build technical skills, reinforce safety and compliance, and support leadership development.
• Manage technical onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth and effective transition into the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with department leaders to identify skill gaps, align training with business goals, and continuously improve workforce capability.
• Coordinate training initiatives across sites to ensure consistency in continuing, delivery, and compliance.
• Train and mentor employees to meet performance expectations and grow within their roles.
• Maintain accurate training records and certifications to meet internal and external audit requirements.
• Build relationships across all levels by walking the floor, attending meetings, and participating in engagement events.
• Track training effectiveness using KPIs like downtime reduction, defect rates, and safety incidents then use insights to improve programs.
• Complete SOPs, Work Instructions, training matrices, and other documentation in line with company policy.
• Handle sensitive employee data and compliance records with discretion and professionalism.
• Support off-shifts and adjust your schedule as needed to meet operational demands.

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Engineering, or a related field strongly preferred
  .
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical training, Human Resources, or manufacturing.
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and technical training methods.
• Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to create engaging training materials across multiple formats.
• Experience with FDA GMPs, OSHA standards, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Climate-controlled office with regular time spent on the production floor.
• Physical activity includes lifting up to 25 lbs, walking, standing, and using PPE as needed.
