Contract Lumberis looking for aLoad Checker (Quality Control) to join our team in(location)!
This person willbe responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of lumber and building materials before delivery or installation.
You’llhelpmaintainhigh standards across the yard by inspecting loads,identifying defects, and promoting a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Additional tasks may be assigned as needed.
- Inspect outgoing loads for accuracy and quality before delivery.
- Monitor and assess incoming lumber and building materials for damage or defects.
- Work closely with Load Builders and Driversto ensure proper handling and storage of materials.
- Helpmaintaina clean, organized, and safe lumber yard.
- Document and report any quality issues or inconsistencies.
- Have fun and enjoy what you do!
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Great attitude anda team player.
- Experience working in a fast‑paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability toidentifyand resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
- Familiarity with lumber and building materials is a plus.
