Wellstar Health Systems is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our team at the new Columbia County hospital. This is a pivotal role in shaping a cutting-edge trauma service within a modern facility equipped with the latest technology.

• Provide expert orthopedic trauma care, including surgical interventions and post-operative management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including emergency medicine, critical care, and rehabilitation specialists.
• Participate in trauma call coverage and support the hospital’s commitment to excellent trauma services.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement and clinical research initiatives as applicable.
• Mentor and train residents and medical students (if affiliated).

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency.
• Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma preferred.
• Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.
