Registered Nurse; RN Outpatient Cardiac Rehab Educator – PRN

The Registered Nurse (RN) Outpatient Cardiovascular Nurse specializes in cardiac diagnostics and rehabilitation, providing personalized, high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, ensuring safe assessments, stress testing, and development of individualized care plans.

• Perform assessments, monitor patients during cardiac stress tests and rehab exercises, and interpret clinical data.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and respond to emergencies following ACLS protocols.
• Develop and adjust exercise prescriptions, monitor vital signs, and educate patients on cardiovascular health and risk factors.
• Maintain documentation, ensure patient safety, and collaborate with healthcare team members.
• Support quality improvement initiatives, participate in team meetings, and serve as a professional role model.

• Associates or Diploma in Nursing required;
  Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with clinical and management competence.
• Proficiency in electronic health records, Microsoft Office, and cardiology-related knowledge.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and ability to stay current with cardiovascular practices.
