Warehouse Forklift Operator 1st Shift – Ryder Supply Chain Solutions

Location:

Grovetown, Georgia.

Compensation:
Hourly Pay $16.00 per hour. Overtime Pay $24.00 per hour. First shift schedule: 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Pay each week.

Position description:
We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Material Handler in Grovetown, Georgia. The role includes operating sit‑down forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers to handle tractor parts. You will work in a safe supply‑chain environment with state‑of‑the‑art equipment. You will also participate in training and receive 401 k matching and other benefits within 30 days.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and truck loading/unloading.
• Maintain day‑to‑day paperwork such as picking sheets, returns, bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
• Carry out duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One (1) year or more warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator’s license (certified).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Team player able to work within a diverse environment.
• Strong professional relationship building at all levels of organization.
• Highly thorough, dependable, punctual, excellent attendance record.
• High degree of initiative and accuracy even under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Commitment to health and safety methods.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
