Warehouse Team Lead

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions is immediately hiring a Warehouse Team Lead in Grovetown, Georgia.

Position Overview

We want a leader to ensure efficient warehouse operations and support our team in a safe, technology‑driven environment.

Compensation
  • Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
  • Schedule:

    First Shift, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, Monday‑Friday (OT as needed)
  • Paid weekly

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • 1+ year powered industrial truck experience (preferred)
  • 1+ year team lead experience (preferred)
  • 1+ year Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) (preferred)
  • 1+ year warehouse experience (preferred)
  • Knowledge of RF scanner (advanced required)
  • Valid forklift operator license (certified)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective leadership & teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to work fast‑paced, dynamic environments
  • Independent and team‑oriented work capability
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proactive, composure under pressure
  • Health and safety method adherence
  • Bilingual (for Québec locations only)
Responsibilities
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts for optimal operations efficiency.
  • Perform core warehouse functions: loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, cycle counting.
  • Allocate resources and distribute daily work duties to ensure optimal shift/team logistics.
  • Inspire and guide team members toward improved key performance indicators (KPIs) using appropriate leadership styles.
  • Assist in orienting employees and provide the necessary information, technology, and tools.
  • Promote health and safety working methods.
  • Handle day‑to‑day warehouse paperwork: picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
  • Complete and submit daily reports; propose action plans to enhance effectiveness and service levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
