What We’re Looking For
You’ll be an outstanding senior secondary professional with a passion for teaching and leadership. Ideally, you will bring:

• 3+ years of senior secondary teaching experience with strong subject expertise

• Leadership experience managing a senior secondary section

• Skills in self-assessment, quality assurance, and curriculum review

• Experience liaising with awarding bodies and ensuring compliance

• Evidence of leading teams and delivering high-quality curriculum/assessment strategies

• Experience preparing students for UCAS, including Oxbridge and Russell Group applications

• A collaborative, solution-focused mindset for cross-cultural environments

Key Responsibilities
As Head of Centre, you will:

• Lead the Gower College A Level programme in partnership with Huamei School leadership

• Drive academic quality, oversee teaching standards, and manage staff performance

• Ensure awarding body compliance and robust curriculum delivery

• Support student recruitment, marketing, and university progression initiatives

• Deliver 10 hours of teaching per week (subject or Honours programme)

• Act as an Ambassador for Gower College Swansea in China

Full training and ongoing support will be provided by the Gower College International Office, Dean of Faculty, and Quality Team.
