Automotive Cost Accountant Position

In this permanent position, Magna Exteriors is looking for a Cost Accountant with a solid background in accounting or finance, ideally with experience in the automotive manufacturing field. You will manage BOM audits, produce variance reports, and play an essential role in monthly and yearly financial close processes. Collaborating with department leaders, you will also assist with financial audits and reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit BOMs to verify actual floor performance

• Collaborate with the team on financial report preparation

• Produce and analyze product variance reports

• Participate in month and year-end close activities

• Liaise with other departments for financial support

Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance degree necessary

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience

• High proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, and SQL

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Excellent communication abilities
