Tax Senior Accountant Specialist

MNP seeks a Senior Accountant specializing in Tax to innovate and advise on customized tax strategies. This position combines purpose and passion, contributing to a thriving work culture.

In this vital role, you will shape tax solutions for clients while ensuring compliance within a challenging regulatory landscape. Responsibilities include preparing tax reorganizations, engaging with clients, and mentoring junior accountants. By leveraging your 2 to 4 years of public accounting experience, you will help businesses navigate their tax strategies effectively and maximize returns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up client files and business in corporations

• Identify and address discrepancies in tax processes

• Develop new approaches to improve workflow efficiency

• Participate in business development initiatives

• Correspond with government agencies regarding tax issues

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration

• Progress towards CPA designation or relevant public experience

• Knowledge of Canadian Income Tax Act required

• Experience with accounting and tax software

• Understanding of agriculture business considered an asset
