In this role, you will be integral to Linamar’s commitment to innovation and collaboration in manufacturing. You’ll need a minimum of three years’ experience with PLC programming and HMI software, as well as familiarity with various automation systems. Work alongside dedicated engineers to streamline processes and cut down on machine downtime, while also ensuring product quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Debug and commission complex automation systems
• Test and integrate systems to ensure operational efficiency
• Collaborate on line improvement projects with engineering teams
• Maintain accurate documentation of equipment and system changes
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation-related problems
Requirements:
• 3 years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting
• Understanding of automation networks and HMI modifications
• Experience with robotics and CNC is desirable
• Knowledge of industrial safety standards
• Willingness to work various shifts as required
