Position: Advisor for Indigenous Entrepreneurs at BDC
Empower Indigenous entrepreneurs as a Senior Advisor at BDC in Ontario. Apply your deep understanding of community needs to foster economic development and business growth.

In this role, you will be the key liaison between BDC and Indigenous communities, enhancing access to capital and mentorship. Your responsibility includes building enduring relationships that facilitate entrepreneurs' success and addressing their unique challenges. As a subject matter expert, you'll guide internal teams to better connect with these communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain strong relationships with community organizations

• Enhance BDC's credibility among Indigenous clients

• Guide entrepreneurs towards suitable BDC resources

• Collaborate to identify business development opportunities

• Foster trust through exceptional customer support

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

• 5+ years in business development in finance

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Leadership capabilities in promoting diversity

• Must be a self-identified Indigenous individual
