Ergonomics Intern at Linamar Corporation

Drive workplace safety as an Ergonomics Intern with Linamar Corporation. Engage in screenings, assessments, and employee training to enhance safety across the facility.

This position reports to the EH&S Manager and requires enrollment in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics program. You will conduct job-specific ergonomic reviews and develop training videos to mitigate risk.

Your role will involve using assessment tools for various workstation setups and suitability assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct ergonomic safety reviews of job functions

• Create Job Specific Training videos for employees

• Use the Linamar Ergonomic Screening Tool effectively

• Perform Physical Demand Descriptions for current and new lines

• Assist with various projects as needed

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled in a Kinesiology or Ergonomics program

• Strong report writing and problem-solving skills

• Good presentation skills and ability to multi-task

• Effective communication skills in a workplace environment

• Must have access to a vehicle
