Senior Building Official & Permitting Lead

A municipal government in Ontario seeks a Supervisor of Building Officials to oversee building inspection services. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Responsibilities include reviewing permits, conducting inspections, and enforcing building and plumbing codes. Knowledge of the National Building Code and excellent communication skills are essential. A Journeyman Certificate in construction/plumbing and BOABC Level 3 certification is preferred.

Candidates must be prepared to work both indoors and outdoors, and handle various environmental challenges.
