Job Overview
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is accountable for reviewing restaurant and other customer orders and responding to inquiries in a professional and timely manner. The emphasis is on accuracy, efficiency, customer service and timely communication with all business partners, including restaurant owners and managers, and all Distribution Centre staff.
Qualifications- Excellent written, verbal, and telephone communication skills.
- Bilingualism in English and French is an asset.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal team skills.
- Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook); SAP experience is an asset.
- Work efficiently in a team‑oriented environment ensuring daily mandates and expectations are reached.
- Receive and process customer orders via Fresh Desk or by phone.
- Assist customers with restaurant orders and help resolve any issues.
- Identify and correct order errors.
- Ensure that orders are downloaded into WMS (warehouse inventory management system).
- Support restaurants with requests such as late order submission, item inquiry, invoice queries, processing of rush/add‑on orders, and ad hoc requests.
- Create and process restaurant return authorizations for products being returned to the Distribution Center for credit.
- Support drop shipments and promotion offerings.
- Process credits from electronic vouchers.
- Process 3PL orders.
- Process international orders.
- Process marketing, department, and employee orders.
