The OpportunityThe UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our secondary teaching team for a Long Term Occasional Assignment – English – 2 sections.
Position DetailsRole: Long Term Occasional Teacher
Location: Online Learning
$59,300.82 – $ per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience. Annual salary is prorated for FTE. Grid rate effective September 1, 2025.
Required QualificationsSenior English.
Effective DateJanuary 30, 2026 – unknown, not to exceed June 26, 2026.
Additional InformationLocation will be determined based on the successful applicant in conjunction with the Principal of Online Learning. Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long‑Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and board policies.
