Position: Instructor for English Language Programs
Enhance English language skills at the University of Guelph as an English Language Instructor. Engage students through innovative teaching methods within a vibrant educational community in Guelph, Ontario.

The University’s School of Continuing Studies is looking for an English Language Instructor committed to delivering dynamic language instruction in the English Language Communication and Culture programs. This temporary position focuses on crafting interactive lessons and assessments to meet the needs of learners ranging from low intermediate to advanced levels. Ongoing student evaluations will be a key part of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement engaging lesson plans for diverse learners

• Facilitate student learning in a supportive environment

• Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback

• Collaborate with colleagues for program enhancement

• Use technology effectively for lesson delivery

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree with TESL Canada Level 1 certification

• At least 2 years of teaching experience in higher education

• Proven ability to teach academic English to diverse groups

• Proficient in Microsoft programs and LMS tools

• Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
