As a Student Recruitment Officer, you will play a key role in attracting committed and well-qualified applicants, with the goal of exceeding enrolment and revenue targets.

• Deliver engaging presentations about the University of Guelph to high schools across Ontario through programs such as Individual School Visit Program, Ontario University Regional Fairs, Ontario Universities’ Fair, OUIS, Fall Open House, and STEM Open House.
• Participate in recruitment events and maintain relationships with prospective students, parents, teachers, and school officials.
• Plan and coordinate logistics for travel, school visits, and recruitment events, including preparation of reports and expense reports.
• Assist with recruitment materials and other related duties as assigned.

• Undergraduate Degree (preferably University of Guelph alumni)
• 1‑2 years of experience in a professional setting; public speaking, presentations, verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Professional judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and problem‑solving skills.
• Valid, full G‑Ontario driver’s licence.
• Extensive travel throughout Ontario required.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
