The Department of Integrative Biology is looking for a tenure-track faculty member with a PhD in Biology or a related field. Postdoctoral experience is preferred, and candidates should demonstrate capability in conducting innovative research that addresses critical biological issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead independent and collaborative research projects
• Engage in teaching Bioinformatics courses to diverse student groups
• Secure funding from competitive sources for research activities
• Support the development of student thesis projects
• Collaborate with various community and industry partners
Requirements:
• Doctoral degree in Biology or relevant field
• Preferential consideration for postdoctoral experience
• Experience in teaching and mentoring students
• Commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusion
• Familiarity with advanced bioinformatics and data analytics
