Temporary ESL​/LINC Instructor at UGDSB

UGDSB is looking for a temporary part-time instructor to teach in the non-credit adult ESL program, requiring just over 5 hours per week, specifically Monday and Wednesday evenings. Applicants must possess TESL Ontario accreditation and a solid understanding of Canadian Language Benchmarks and LINC curriculum to enhance classroom dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create engaging, multi-level language lessons

• Ensure effective classroom management practices

• Leverage Canadian Language Benchmarks in instruction

• Maintain accurate reporting and student evaluations

• Utilize Google Classroom as an instructional tool

Requirements:

• TESL Ontario accreditation required

• In-depth knowledge of Canadian Language Benchmarks

• Background in Portfolio Based Language Assessment

• Strong ability in developing task-based curriculums
