The UGDSB invites passionate candidates for the Educational Assistant role. This full-time position involves 32.5 hours weekly, providing specialized support for students' behavior, medical, and physical needs. Successful candidates should possess flexibility, patience, and essential training in behavior management and autism spectrum disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students with diverse behavioral and physical needs

• Assist with lifting, toileting, and positioning tasks

• Collaborate with classroom teachers and parents

• Work individually and in group settings

• Fulfill additional assigned duties as needed

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Diploma or equivalent experience

• Valid Behavior Management Systems certification

• Experience with special needs students preferred

• Training in Autism Spectrum Disorder

• Must perform essential physical duties effectively
