High School Math & Science Teacher / Tutor

Oxford Learning Guelph Woodlawn & Hanlon is seeking a part‑time teacher/tutor for high school mathematics and science. The role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about teaching, enjoy numbers and equations, and want to help students succeed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Second, third‑ or fourth‑year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
• Teaching certification is an asset
• Strong knowledge of Grades 9‑12 math, including Advanced Functions, Trigonometry, and Calculus/Vector topics

• In‑depth experience teaching or tutoring Math and Physics from Grade 9 to 12 (or equivalent) level
• Strong English written and oral communication skills
• Strong physics and math skills, with the ability to guide students’ understanding
• Ability to multitask and support up to three students simultaneously
• Fluency in French is an asset

• Teach up to three students at a time at varying levels
• Follow Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
• Complete post‑lesson notes and daily student communication updates
• Maintain a friendly and professional manner at all times

Job Type: Part‑time

Salary: $20–$21 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday: 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Saturday: 10:00 am – 2:00 pm (availability required)
