Empower students as a Permanent Teacher for Tech at Wellington Heights Secondary School. This role focuses on curriculum-based instruction, collaboration, and inspiring a love for learning.
You will report directly to the Principal and engage in six sections of manufacturing technology. As part of the educational team, your responsibilities include planning, implementing, and assessing curriculum in line with Ontario Ministry of Education standards. Collaborating with colleagues and the community, you will support student success and well-being effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement curriculum-based instruction
• Assess student performance and provide feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community
• Support student well-being and engagement
• Inspire a love of learning in students
Requirements:
• Certification in Senior Manufacturing education
• Commitment to inclusive recruitment and practices
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience in curriculum assessment and implementation
• Familiarity with Ontario Ministry of Education standards
