In this temporary position, you will provide strategic career advising while enhancing student career readiness through instruction and collaboration with various departments. Design and implement career skills workshops, advise on educational pathways, and conduct labor market research to support student and alumni success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver the MGMT
1100 course focused on key career skills
• Advise students on job-search strategies and educational pathways
• Create and facilitate impactful career workshops and activities
• Collaborate with faculty to align career guidance with academic curriculum
• Conduct research on labor market trends to inform advising
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field
• 3-4 years of career advising experience
• Strong curriculum development and adult education skills
• Excellent communication and group facilitation abilities
• Familiarity with Brightspace (D2L) and administrative processes
Lead students toward career readiness with comprehensive guidance and strategic instruction at the University of Guelph.
