Position Overview

Long-Term Occasional Teacher – LRC
10 – 2 sections.

The UGDSB employs a team of approximately 6,500 dedicated staff who serve more than 35,000 students across 66 elementary and 11 secondary schools, as well as continuing education and adult learning centres in Dufferin, Wellington, and Guelph. Location:

Centennial CVI.

Rate of Pay: $59,300.82 – $ per annum.

Effective Date:
Immediately – open until June 26, 2026.

Term: 3 or 4 sections.

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school, the Long‑Term Occasional Teacher will provide continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
