Join the University of Guelph as an International Recruitment Advisor, where you will engage with prospective international students throughout the recruitment journey. Support inquiries and enhance conversion through proactive, student-centered service.
This role focuses on providing exceptional student support as a primary contact for international prospects. You will work closely with various departments, including marketing and admissions, to manage leads and increase engagement. The position requires a nuanced understanding of students' needs while promoting undergraduate and master’s programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as main contact for international student prospects
• Engage students through diverse communication channels
• Address inquiries about programs and application processes
• Assist in managing leads through recruitment events
• Support students during decision-making stages
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree and 2+ years in student services
• Fluent in multiple languages is an asset
• Strong communication and cultural sensitivity skills
• Experience with CRM systems like Slate
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations with empathy
