Finish as a Running & Reading Club Mentor in Guelph. Empower kids in Grades 1-6 through physical activities and reading support every Thursday afternoon.

Become a mentor and support students at Brant Avenue Public School once a week, helping them build confidence, stay active, and develop a love for literacy. Engage in fun activities, facilitate reading sessions, and serve healthy snacks that nurture both physical and mental growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in various fun fitness activities

• Read one-on-one with students to enhance literacy

• Assist in serving nutritious snacks during the program

• Lead literacy games and activities that encourage engagement

Requirements:

• Undergo a background or police records check

• Comply with the volunteer code of conduct

• Minimum age of 16 years old required

• Comfortable commuting to the program location
