Position: Social Science Educator - Long Term Occasional
Empower young minds as a Long Term Occasional Social Science Educator with the Upper Grand District School Board at Centennial CVI. This temporary position runs from September 2026 to February 2027.

In this role, you will ensure students receive a robust education in Social Science while the regular teacher is absent. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide engaging and effective instruction during teacher absence

• Address the diverse needs of students in Social Science

• Collaborate with the Principal and school staff

• Ensure compliance with educational standards

• Foster a supportive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Senior Social Science teaching qualifications

• Minimum of two professional supervisory references

• Pre-employment Vulnerable Sector Check needed

• Strong dedication to inclusive education

• Previous teaching experience preferred
