Math Teacher CVI

Position: Occasional Math Teacher CVI
Contribute to student success as a Long Term Occasional Math Teacher at Guelph Collegiate Vocational Institute. This role focuses on maintaining high-quality education during the regular teacher's temporary absence.

UGDSB is seeking a qualified educator for a Long Term Occasional Math assignment starting September 2, 2026. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional teaching to support student well-being, aligning with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies. This role requires an Intermediate Math qualification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous education during teacher absences

• Implement lesson plans and educational strategies

• Monitor and support student progress and achievement

• Uphold Ontario Ministry of Education standards

• Collaborate with school staff to ensure inclusive practices

Requirements:

• Intermediate Math qualification is mandatory

• Familiarity with Ontario education standards

• Commitment to diversity and equity in education

• Teaching experience in relevant subjects

• Must meet the UGDSB inclusive recruitment criteria
