Finish's Running & Reading Program. Support students in Grades 1-6 through engaging activities that cultivate fitness and literacy every Thursday.
This volunteer position located at Brant Avenue Public School allows you to influence young minds positively while creating a fun and supportive environment. By volunteering just one afternoon a week, you can help children develop essential skills and build lasting relationships with peers and mentors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Engage in fun and interactive fitness sessions
• Provide one-on-one reading assistance to students
• Assist with healthy snacks preparation and service
• Organize and lead literacy-focused activities and games
Requirements:
• Background check or police records check required
• Must comply with volunteer conduct standards
• Minimum age of 16 years
• Must be able to commute to program location
