Position: Casual ECE Role with Upper Grand District
Support children’s learning and development as a Casual Early Childhood Educator with the Upper Grand District School Board.

This role offers flexible, short-term opportunities across various educational settings.

The UGDSB is looking for a motivated Casual Early Childhood Educator to provide coverage during ECE absences. With no guaranteed hours, you can work up to 32.5 hours weekly in diverse programs, connecting with students and enhancing their early learning experience. Engage with teachers and families to ensure quality education for young children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to implement engaging early learning programs

• Communicate regularly with families and educational teams

• Build relationships with local community service providers

• Support programming for student groups during extended periods

• Fulfill additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Completed 2-year College Diploma in ECE

• Membership in good standing with the Ontario College of ECE

• Minimum 6-months experience with preschool children

• Understanding of early education and literacy acquisition

• Strong communication skills with children and parents
