The Department of Molecular and Cellular Biology seeks a Teaching Coordinator who will enhance education in immunology, microbiology, and cell biology. You will coordinate laboratory courses, mentor graduate teaching assistants, and develop experiential learning modules.
Your role will also include overseeing safety compliance and supporting curricular innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate lab courses for undergraduate and graduate programs
• Operate and maintain the tissue culture teaching laboratory
• Develop modern lab exercises and experiential activities
• Train graduate teaching assistants in best practices
• Support faculty in delivering effective lab experiences
Requirements:
• MSc in Cell Biology, Immunology, or related field
• At least 18 months of relevant experience
• Strong background in mammalian cell culture techniques
• Proven ability in teaching or mentoring students
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
