The OpportunityThe UGDSB is seeking a dynamic individual to join our elementary teaching team for the following opportunity:
Position Details: Long Term Occasional Assignment – Grade 8 - English, Math, History, Geography – 1.0 FTE
Location: Willow Road Public School
Rate of Pay: $52,974.00 - $ per annum; salary grid rate is based on QECO rating and teaching experience; annual salary is prorated based on FTE; grid rate effective September 1, 2026
Required Qualifications: Intermediate
Effective Date: September 2, 2026 - March 5, 2027

Reporting to: The Principal of the assigned school. The Long‑Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board Policies.
