Drum Lessons Teacher

Become a Drum Lessons Teacher at Long & McQuade in Guelph, Ontario. This contract position requires teaching experience and knowledge of effective lesson curricula for diverse students.

As an independent contractor, you will provide drum lessons at the Long & McQuade Lesson Centre. Ideal candidates must hold a relevant music degree, achieve at least Grade 8 RCM standing, or demonstrate professional equivalency. You will engage with students of all ages, applying your teaching skills and standard methods in both private and group lesson settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging drum lessons to students of varying ages

• Develop lesson plans based on established curricula

• Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods

• Maintain a positive and motivating learning environment

• Coordinate lesson schedules for weekdays, weeknights, and weekends

Requirements:

• Music degree or diploma from a recognized institution

• Minimum Grade 8 RCM standing with Grade 2 Rudiments

• Prior teaching experience with diverse age groups

• Strong understanding of standard teaching methods

• Professional equivalency in music teaching
