Grade 7​/8 SERT Teacher Position

Take on a long-term occasional role at Jean Little Public School as a Grade 7/8 SERT teacher, engaging students and ensuring their success at a full-time level.

This role offers a salary ranging from $52,974 to $119,975 per annum based on experience.

You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality education and supporting student achievement during the regular teacher's absence. This position values candidates with Special Education Part 1 and teaching experience in Grade 7/8 & SERT. Your impact will be aligned with the Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the school Principal

• Provide quality education during teacher absence

• Support student achievement and well-being

• Ensure compliance with educational standards

• Position will conclude upon the incumbent's return

Requirements:

• Certification in Special Education Part 1

• Experience in Grade 7/8 & SERT

• Completed necessary certifications

• Professional development completed

• Willingness to participate in staff diversity initiatives
