Hours:
1.0 FTE; 35 hours per week - Salary Range: $57,801 - $78,770 per year (effective September 1, 2025)

Unknown - Board Information: 10‑month position (September – June), temporary, full‑time, Professional Student Services Personnel (PSSP) Union
- Address emotional barriers to student success
- Develop preventive social/behavioural programming
- Provide direct service to students on social, emotional, or behavioural issues (e.g., conflict resolution, anger management, learning behaviours, peer interaction)
- Support students and parents on social issues including effective parenting, divorce, and bereavement
- Act as a liaison between school, parents, and community agencies
- Assist in developing action plans and IEPs for students with social, emotional, and behavioural concerns
- Other duties as assigned
- Child and Youth Worker diploma or degree, or equivalent formal education and work experience
- Demonstrated experience supporting students with behavioural and mental health needs
- Experience in the school system, consultation, and knowledge of collaborative proactive solutions and Zones of Regulation
- Full membership as a professional certified in the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care
- Experience with individual and group counselling and behavioural management programming
