Elevate educational experiences at UGDSB as a Long Term Occasional Teacher for Grade 7/8 vide high-quality instruction during the temporary absence of the regular teacher.
UGDSB is seeking a dedicated educator for a full-time, long-term occasional teaching assignment. You will support Ontario's educational standards and foster student achievement and well-being. This position requires intermediate-level experience and offers a competitive salary based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver quality education in Grade 7/8 classrooms
• Support student engagement and achievement
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain education standards
• Ensure adherence to Board policies and procedures
• Report directly to the Principal of Westwood
Requirements:
• Intermediate level teaching experience required
• Commitment to fostering inclusivity in the classroom
• Ability to cultivate a positive learning environment
• Expertise in Ontario Ministry of Education standards
• Completion of required professional development
