Position Overview

Long‑Term Occasional – SERT & Planning – 1.0 Full‑Time Equivalent (FTE) elementary teaching position. Provide continuous, high‑quality instruction during the temporary absence of the regular teacher, supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.

Effective September 2, 2026 – unknown, not to exceed June 30, 2027. 1.0 FTE. LTO positions will end if the incumbent returns to work.

Westwood.

Salary range $52,974.00 – $ per annum. Salary grid rate effective September 1, 2026, and is prorated based on FTE.

Spec Ed Part 1, Primary, Junior, Intermediate. Qualified teacher with relevant experience.

Reporting to the Principal of the assigned school. Provide continuous, high‑quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. Play a vital role in supporting student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
