As a Project SEARCH Skills Trainer, you'll play a key role in helping interns develop competitive skills that lead to meaningful employment. This position requires strong communication and training abilities. You'll be responsible for identifying internship sites and implementing tailored training strategies that align with each intern’s goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with instructors and business liaisons
• Develop and support skill-building internship opportunities
• Consult with business employees on intern success
• Implement systematic instruction techniques
• Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Social Services or similar
• Minimum 1 year experience in training/coaching
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Strong organizational and decision-making skills
• Effective interpersonal communication and computer proficiency
