The Child Care and Learning Centre at the University of Guelph invites applications for a Temporary Full-Time Educator II position. This role requires significant experience in licensed child care settings and an undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies. As an educator, you'll develop and implement engaging programs that are inclusive and responsive to children's interests.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute an inclusive, child-centered curriculum
• Foster an innovative and explorative learning environment
• Collaborate with families and community professionals
• Support and mentor less experienced staff and students
• Ensure compliance with standard health and safety regulations
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Studies or similar
• At least 1.5 years child care experience
• Valid registration with relevant educational authorities
• Current First Aid and CPR-C certification
• Strong understanding of early childhood pedagogies
