Enhance veterinary education with the University of Guelph as an Animal Health Technician. Support clinical skills in equine and food animal contexts across the DVM program.
This temporary full-time position involves working with faculty to facilitate hands-on learning experiences in veterinary technology. Key tasks include planning, preparing, and delivering hands-on teaching contributions across various phases and contexts of the Doctor of Veterinary Medicine curriculum. You will also coordinate essential administrative tasks to support educational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in teaching equine and food animal clinical skills
• Facilitate DVM student learning in laboratories
• Plan and coordinate clinical teaching sessions
• Manage logistical and administrative support for teaching
• Provide technical assistance to students and faculty
Requirements:
• Veterinary Technician program completion required
• Success with VTNE and OAVT exams
• Required protective rabies titre
Engage in meaningful educational support and enhance the learning of future veterinary professionals within the Clinical Skills Team.
