Position: Part Time Teacher - Kindergarten Role
Enhance your teaching career with the Upper Grand District School Board as a Part Time Kindergarten Teacher. This 0.3 FTE long-term occasional role is set to begin on September 2, 2026, at Rickson Ridge.

UGDSB is looking for an enthusiastic educator to fulfill a vital role in a Kindergarten classroom. You'll be responsible for creating an engaging learning environment while adhering to the Ontario educational standards. This short-term position involves planning and implementing lessons that align with the needs of young learners during the regular teacher's absence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach students in a structured and supportive environment

• Develop lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs

• Support student well-being and attendance

• Engage with parents and guardians regarding student progress

• Attend and participate in staff meetings

Requirements:

• Must hold Primary teaching qualifications

• Original Vulnerable Sector Check required

• Experience with early childhood education beneficial

• Familiarity with Ontario Ministry of Education guidelines

• Commitment to creating an inclusive classroom environment
