Oxford Learning Guelph Woodlawn & Hanlon seeks a passionate part-time Teacher/Tutor for high school Math and Science. This role requires a love for teaching and supporting student success.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree or extensive tutoring experience, especially in Grades 9-12 math and physics. You will use effective teaching methods and manage up to three students at a time in your sessions. Building their confidence and understanding is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach multiple students across different levels
• Implement Oxford Learning teaching philosophies
• Create thorough post-lesson notes and updates
• Exhibit a friendly and professional attitude
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant extensive tutoring experience
• Strong knowledge of high school mathematics
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Ability to manage several students simultaneously
• French proficiency highly regarded
